067 We’re back in California and we can’t wait to head back to our little stone vacation house. In this weeks video, we’re sharing a trip to the Emmaus 87 in downtown Limoges. We visited this favorite a few weeks ago. The Emmaus 87 is a great place to find really great porcelain pieces.
Thanks again for watching,
Michael and April

Hello! I’m curious if you are concerned about lead in these old items. I live in Montpellier and really want to shop at Emmaus but I am hesitant. Any advice is appreciated!
Si vous aimez la porcelaine vous devriez visiter la manufacture de Sèvres qui se situe juste à l’entrée de Paris.
Hello, I think you missed the assorted tureen with the lion heads that was on the same shelf. Wonderful Aladin's cave.
Nice choice of items.
The blue and white 4 piece set was most likely €15 because the French write the one looking similar to a 7
April, you are quite the savvy buyer. Love the plate showing some of the cheeses. I also have 8 of those lion head bowls. Anyone who considers themselves to be a Francophile must have them. I even use them for my morning oatmeal. Even have 8 ramekin plates very versatile for roasting/baking/ heating things up. I also use them as salad plates or serving plates for appetizers.
You are such a warm couple. Any chance you would consider sharing how you do it?
Thank you…Joseph.
Generally you can negotiate prices at Emmaüs. I just got 12 Limoges dinner plates and 12 assiettes creuses for 10 euros 😊
Hi, the "scottish thing" is a ice axe, more of a souvenir one, than a genuine one for climbing in the icy mountains.
Love the cheese plate! Always need some kitch to make you smile! 😀
