Ingredients:
1 ½ onions
3 tbsp butter
Olive oil
1 tbsp minced garlic
¼ cup white wine
1 ½ cups water
2 tsp chicken bouillon powder
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Some fresh herb leaves
Baguette
Gruyère cheese
Instructions:
1. Slice one and a half onions.
2. In a pot, heat butter and olive oil, then caramelize the onions until browned.
3. Add minced garlic and stir well.
4. Pour in white wine and let it simmer briefly. Then, add water.
5. Add chicken bouillon powder, Worcestershire sauce, and herb leaves. Let it simmer.
6. Bake baguette slices in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 5-7 minutes.
7. Place the baked baguette on top of the soup, grate Gruyère cheese over it, then bake the soup in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for another 5-7 minutes.
