President Donald Trump threatened to impose a 200% tariff on wine, champagne, and other alcoholic beverages from France and the European Union. The threat is in response to the EU’s plan to impose a tax on American whiskey exports, which is a retaliation against Trump’s steel and aluminum tariffs. Trump’s tariff threat has caused shares in European makers of alcoholic beverages to fall, and has escalated the transatlantic trade war. Bloomberg News Albertina Torsoli reports.

The only thing worse than higher tariff is the expectation for higher tariff.
canada has always been run by looters – YOUR LOOTER HAS PUT US IN A PLACE. Our per capita GDP has fallen for decade and before that too it was just about in positive territory. Our per capita GDP is 75% of US our currency is 70% of the great nation of USA and after 90% of Canadians pay 65% on housing and another 20-30% on taxes they have to struggle to put food on table. This when most countries our sie pay 4-5% of GDP on defence we pay nothing. We dont even pay into the ecological costs associated with great lakes. And yet when we say REDUCE SPENDING LOOTERS (university ecosystems, teachers unions, bureaucrats, refugees, globalists, piggy colleges builders and other members of Davos cartel & Soros oligarchy) say we build road and provide electricity as if Canada is the only country doing that.
Then we build puppy colleges and loot the life savings of international students/immigrants thru what can only be called a legalized immigration cartel and ofcourse we loot the disposable income of the capitalist less taxed consumer of the great nation of USA to whom we deserve no access. Our entire country is a slave state to Davos cartel & Soros oligarchy. Empires based on loot never last
