  1. Well, it is difficult if you use a pan and a stove that you’re not used to. I use a carbon steel pan and induction stove. The pan I use, I only use for omelettes, absolutely no sticking. My breakfast omelette is only 2 eggs. You need some practice to find the correct power setting and timing . I always add chives as I whisk the eggs, and I cook in raps seed oil + butter. The chives I buy frozen. I probably cooked 1000 French omelettes in my carbon steel pan and now it always comes out perfect. The amount of salt is important, maximum 3/4 ml for 2 medium size eggs. To much salt and you omelette is destroyed…

  2. What a stupid show … yes, I really do appreciate the omelette cooking, but Masterchek UK is sooooooooo much better. None of that ridiculous background stuff that the 18 year old producers inflict on us here. Even Masterchef USA is better.

  3. 2:06 "if you work it too much with a fork or spatula, you'll have scrambled eggs". What BS is that? lol. You'll have scrambled eggs if you over cook it and break it apart. No amount of mixing it around will make it scrambled eggs if you don't over cook it.

  4. These judges are so much better at giving advice to the home cooks. They feel like true mentors. No unnecessary screaming and plate throwing (yes I’m talking about you Joe).

  5. Im sorry, but how can anyone act so elite when it comes to folded unspiced scrambled eggs 😂 If someone served me this, I’d walk out

  6. Claudio is far too arrogant, he acts like he’s been a perfect cook and never made a mistake! He really needs some humility!

  7. The meaning to a perfect egg omelette is the way you like it. There is no right or wrong way. Some people like them runny and others don't. Like for example i dont like them how Gordon Ramsey makes them. They look raw to me. I like them fully cooked and some brown on them. It all depends on your own liking

  8. Man I make those eggs everyday for my family in under 3 mins before we go to work in the morning but no one at home appreciates it 😢(and if I say so myself those eggs look like a disaster)

  9. This is broadcast worldwide but until this went out we had never heard of the judges ! The small guy with the blue hair all I know him for is shoutiing at people. Cook something for us little blue haired little,d guy ? Or is that to much to ask

  10. This would be impossible with how I cook omlettes.
Given the same number of eggs, mine are thicker and fluffier.
However, I like mine with a darker base and I always cook them in cast iron.
Edit: Also, TBF, I've never tried to do a plain omelette. Mine always have a variety of toppings and are lightly grilled on top before folding.
