The World Poutine Eating Championship is the 2nd largest professional eating competition in the World and is one of Canada’s most anticipated sporting events of the year. This event will feature the World’s top competitive eaters including. Smoke’s Poutinerie, the World’s Largest & Original Poutinerie, is a Canadian Brand that loves to showcase its weird, wild & wacky persona. You won’t want to miss this event as it is a perfect demonstration of just how INSANE things can get when Smoke’s Poutinerie is involved! We are extremely excited to announce that Destoyer, the world renowned KISS Cover Band will be returning to our stage again this year after totally rockin’ the square in 2014!     My friends father owned a snack bar in Warwick, Quebec back in the 80s. His father is credited with having "invented" the poutine. Its actually one of his customers who asked him to put some cheese curds on his fries before pouring the gravy on top. So technically, its the customer who first came up with the idea. But its my buddy's father who coined the term "poutine" and first put it on a menu.
