Chicken Francese with White Wine Lemon Sauce (Delicious Recipe)

Ever heard of Chicken Francese? It’s this dish that’s kind of a delicious mystery! You see, it’s got this fancy-sounding “French” name, but – it was actually created right here in America by Italian immigrants! Isn’t that a fun little food fact? 😉

In this video, I’m going to show you how to make this amazing Chicken Francese with white wine lemon sauce, and trust me, it’s a total flavor explosion! Now, traditionally, Italian chicken dishes like this were made with veal. But honestly? Chicken works just as beautifully, and it’s often easier to find and a bit more budget-friendly. So, chicken it is!

Back to that name though… “Francese”… “French”… in an Italian-American dish? So funny! Some people think it’s maybe all the butter we use in this recipe that gives it that “French” vibe. Or maybe it’s the white wine sauce? Whatever the reason, one thing is for sure – the taste is absolutely incredible!

This dish is begging to be paired with a lovely glass of white wine. Think a crisp Sauvignon Blanc or a buttery Chardonnay. Or, if you’re feeling a bit adventurous, even a light red like a Gamay or Pinot Noir would be fantastic!

►Half cup plain flour
►2 eggs
►1 handful of fresh parsley
►2oz Parmesan cheese
►1 cup white wine
►1 cup chicken stock
