This is by far one of her recipes😛 that is made my tongue hang out
When blenders and a potato ricers were high-tech kitchen tools 😋
WOW!! What deliciousness awaits my tongue! Can't wait to make Bavarian cream!
The thumbnail is the one from the Sole bomme Femme episode
Even with the more basic and somewhat primitive filming, Julia Child is still more engaging and interesting than most television chefs today.
Considering the price of eggs these days, Julia's desserts have suddenly become luxury dishes for the wealthy.
Love filberts, now I know the secret. To roast or not to roast?
is barvarian cream the same as a blancmange?
From 1972?! Looks like it still holds up!
16:36…Oh Julia, you said the same thing, TWICE!
My mother made a delicious lemon Bavarian cream cold souffle that we kids called "Eating Clouds". It was our favorite dessert! 😊
I once made an orange Bavarian for a friend's Halloween party. It was in a lovely old fluted mold I bought in a thrift shop, and when I unmolded it I cringed because it had separated slightly and there was a clear orange layer at the top….BUT….everyone thought that was what it was supposed to look like, and it still was delicious! I never told anyone….until now….
The amount of pots and utensils used in this recipe lol
Thank you!😊
