Season 1: France
In the first season of Wine Masters we visit five wine regions in five episodes in France where we discover the know-how behind the most famous grape varieties and the terroirs by the stories of some of the most prestiges wine producing families and Masters of Wine Jeannie Cho Lee and Tim Atkin.

The following stories are being told:
• Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon in Bordeaux by the de Boüard de Laforest family of Angélus.
• Syrah in Rhône by the Guigal family of E. Guigal.
• Sauvignon Blanc in Loire by the Bourgeois family of Henri Bourgeois.
• Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in Burgundy by the Drouhin family of Joseph Drouhin.
• Riesling in Alsace by the Trimbach family of Trimbach.
