Good idea, but I think I would have cooked the bacon first and then used that bacon fat to cook either the mushrooms or the potatoes.
Great recipe! I make similar to this but w/out olives & with parsley. Now it's a good change to more flavour. Merci!
That pan looks just like the Maid In 12' carbon steel pan I bought… I absolutely HATE that pan. Even after doing the "Perfect seasoning for carbon pan" and everything I can come up with, the seasoning still comes off after each use, and the handle… it looks just like that with a big flat metal bar it is so uncomfortable to hold for a 10lb pan, why don't they just curl the metal a bit to make a comfortable handle? And on top of all of that, it hot spotted the middle of the pan and actually warped so that there is a slight bump in the very center so the pan no longer sets on a flat cooktop and spins around only making contact in the middle. I hate that pan, and I hate watching every YT chef shill Maid-In. I hope that pan from Holland is better, but that similar flat handle triggered me right from the start. Also I have a carbon wok and 125kbtu wok burner so it's not like I don't understand how carbon cookware works.
