    I feel like going to the US would freak me out. I visited Edinburgh last year, being from another European country, and I didn't notice anything particularly… noteworthy… about the age of the buildings. That's how so many people live all over the world beasties!

    37:00 as a European (I’m Swedish) it’s really funny to just hear them talk about trains as some kind of novelty thing. It’s just like the most efficient way to get places in like most of Europe. It’s cheap and fast

    39:13 technically the first reality tv show is candid camera from 1948 but it’s a hidden camera prank show kind of so it’s not really the same as modern reality tv. The first show to just organically follow actual people as they do stuff in the way reality tv does was a Dutch show called “Nummer 28” in 1991 which was the inspiration for big brother and the real world which came out in 1992 so that was the one that started that whole genre. Then in 1997 here in Sweden they started “Expedition Robinson” which is the original version of survivor (survivor is just the American version, the show is the exact same) and that was the show that started the competition reality tv genre.

    I still can't believe Montoya has reached THIS far to the point random celebrities mention the show lmfao (that isn't even the craziest thing that has happened in Temptation Island Spain btw). Also Shayne, (15:30) some couple actually DID this in another edition of Temptation Island Spain but the production noticed and they were kicked out.
