Cara organised a surprise dinner at ITE College West, of all places. The Culinary Arts students there run Chez West, a French fine dining restaurant, where they showcase the skills they’ve acquired from the course and from their internships at Michelin Star restaurants in Singapore. Delicious food, impressive service, and a quirky place for a date.
What We Tried:
• Bread with both plain and kombu butter
• Sun-dried tomato focaccia with cod brandade
• Chicken roulade with potato, juniper berry jus and sesame tuile
• Braised oxtail with savoy cabbage parcel and celeriac puree
• Earl grey cake with orange crémeux and chocolate glaze, earl grey mousse and Chantilly cream
