  1. I have never used powdered sugar in my batter….

    But one thing I just tried this past weekend
    Eggs and a tablespoon of avocado oil… overly well whisked then added my cinnamon and fresh nutmeg …. Then whisked and whisked some more….

    added 1/2tsp vanilla bean paste and a few drops of Kona coffee elixir
    Whisked again

    Then whisked in one cup of whole milk

    The spices never separated like it’s done for the past 40 years of making French toast with cinnamon and nutmeg

    Also cutting a loaf to Brioche into 1” slices stand laid domino style to sort of dry out over night… not all the way dry but it keeps from absorbing too much… cast iron is my favorite to toast…

    And big if honey butter is yummy
    And spend the money for adults and get the best syrup… you’ll use less.
