Talli Faye. I am so glad you said that you got your mushrooms "washed up". I am always alarmed when some cooks want to "wipe" them with a cloth. I don't know where they get their mushrooms but the ones I get are dirty and have to be carefully washed.
You essentially made Coq au Vin. It sounds so fancy but it is a delicious country chicken stew like you made but with wine. Love how you cook because I cook the same way.
Talle you made me cry, when you wish us such loving comforting words I just welled up with tears because you really mean what you’re saying and I appreciate. That love so much!😢😪👍🏻❤️🙏🏻
New sub here hailing from W.Central Nebraska. You just popped up in my feed this morning. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful meal idea, you just solved Sunday supper. You're so sweet.
That’s my idea of a hug on a plate! Reminds me of the chicken cacciatore that I make, but without any tomato in it. Did you say you used a bag of frozen Brussels? I love almost any veggie grilled/roasted and using frozen soul sure be more economical and convenient.
When I was growing up I did not care a bit for Brussels sprouts, but after I found roasting them– wow. Love them. I think they had always been boiled-ick.
Hi Talli Faye! You are such a good teacher. Thank you for telling me the simple things that everyone else thinks you should know it already. You tell me when to turn down the heat, when to add the spices, the liquid and how much. I’ve learned so much and my cooking is really surprising me. I’m not scared anymore 😂!
I’ve never cooked my chicken like this Talli Faye , but i’m gonna try it cause i love everything in it and tools delicious !! My mommas momma was a Belote which i think is french !! But momma never knew her momma cause she died in childbirth when momma was 2 yrs old !! So momma never got to know anything about her mommas heritage ! In those days ( early 20’s ) when a wife died leaving children the men remarried quickly to have someone to raise the kids , and they would have more kids together ! Mommas step-mother had 8 kids with mommas father and she raised momma and her sister also !! They had large families back then , no birth control and farm life needed all those kids to help in the fields !! ❤️🙏🙋🏻🌈🌈🥰

Can’t wait to try this; thanks!
We’re trying to cut down on carbs, so, even though I’d love mashed potatoes with this, the chicken and vegetables would be all I’ll do.

I thought Buzz didn’t like Garlic? 🤷♂️
Sure Buzz will be happy, until he figures out that there’s Garlic in it! 😂😂😂
Actually some Celery would have been perfect in this dish. Also a splash of White Wine!
