As part of my journey to try every spot on the New York Times Top 100 list, I visited Daniel, one of NYC’s most prestigious Michelin-starred French restaurants. Helmed by Chef Daniel Boulud, a culinary legend known for his impeccable technique and innovative approach to French cuisine, Daniel is renowned for its elegant tasting menu and exceptional service. Every dish was crafted with precision and artistry, making it a truly unforgettable dining experience. Is it worth the hype and the price? Watch to find out!

  1. From what I can see, there were far more desserts… for that price, you better be serving me some damn good meat dishes! Sadly, the main dishes did not look appetizing.

  2. I'll bet you were still hungry after 5 tiny size courses. $230 per person for those foo foo portions is insane.

  3. Ate dinner at Daniel years ago, and had a similar experience. I don’t know why, but it seems that quite a few high-end restaurants have more interesting appetizers and desserts than mains. Daniel is a beautiful restaurant, but with so many other excellent dining options in NYC I feel no need to return.

  4. Since I'm the only pro cook commenting & these are mainly bot replies it gets dry from that perfectionism of plating. Especially when we're adding flowers..it just sits longer than it needs to..
