Yay, French bread! Happy Valentines Day from Texas!
Happy Valentines Day to ALL.
I don't think I'll be going to Indy after all. I operate, primarily, on the whims of those near me. Might have to settle for delivered goods.
really cool episode ! It's costing $120 to have a mug posted to the UK in total. Is there no cheaper way ? lol
Him: Hey honey, for Valentine's Day, I got rid of the air fryer and got you an earth oven.
Her: 😤
I like watching because I always learn something about the past and
I'm 60 years old but I'm still learning thank you and have a nice weekend.

actually liking the Irish trail commercial. Hoping to see more like them…o_o
We have ruddy ducks on the west coast. I have seen them often at Stow Lake in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco.

Penny loaf…
I only caught your last 15 minutes live, here to watch the full thing 😊
BREAD HISTORY:
Bread started out crunchy, stale, sour, dry, starchy, lumpy, all kinds of awful depending on the loaf.
They tried everything from adding saw dust to rolling it on the floor before they finally figured out what worked and what didn't.
As time went on, we finally invented sliced white bread, hot dog buns, hamburger buns, flat bread, pizza crust, and dinner rolls.
Old bread was now completely obsolete and unnecessary, but in an attempt to keep history alive, bakers kept making it, and they sell them at a ridiculously high price and pretend that they are "specialty breads" or "artisanal breads", which just means old garbage nobody actually wants anymore.
The high price creates a false idea that the awful old-time bread is somehow more luxurious even though in all senses it isn't.
I think you should study bread from Sweden, you'll learn a lot. And we still eat bread like that.Barley is still used here in Sweden. 🙂
Bread with eggs? Must be for the nobility.
Enjoyable topic. Discussing wood with baking in general, cherry seems to burn hotter in my stove. That could be why they used it.😊
That intro! 🤣 I'm dying. Got to love the live. Totally authentic genuine etc. Goofups and silly sayings we don't even know the meaning of or maybe where we were intending to go exactly with our thoughts happens even to the best and most experienced of us. I certainly do it more than I'd like to be sure hahhah!

Not pricing issues but government issues!
I very much enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up
Unfortunately, the entire video was blurry for me.
I would be so happy to drink some ales and talk for hours with Jon. His personality is so interesting and I would be fascinated.
Could you not find a French recipe for bread? By definition that would be…French bread. Lol.
Thank you all for another fun episode. Loved seeing the new mugs, and the beautiful blue beak on the Ruddy Duck. PS – I heard something about military recruiting problems, maybe they heard about how the army makes bread???
😋🍿
