One other thing that I think is so great about the uk. We introduced sugar tax. When it first came out I thought it was so pointless but now like majority of drinks, Fanta, Dr Pepper etc now have like 1/2 the sugar they once had because they would of had to increase the price. Coke was like the only drink to not change their drink and it’s now like 60/70p or 50 cents more than all the other drinks because of the sugar content. So making people drink and consume less sugar. Ngl it was such a good idea. I remneber being mad at age 15 tho thinking this Fanta tastes like crap but I’m 24 now and the country is definitely way healthier. My numbers could be wrong but I’m pretty sure like a can of Fanta had like 25-30 grams of sugar. Now the Fanta here has like 12 grams of sugar. America needs to do this
It's because in the UK alot of the shit you add to food in US is illegal to put in food and when it comes to processed meat they have to be a minimum of 40% meat by law
US food is just disgusting, wanted to travel there so much, been there 3 times in different regions, never found good food :/ even after beeing to good rated restaurants….somethings in all the food that is not right. funnily the only thing that i didnt got soch from was the disgusting deep dish pizza xD
Togans friend is right. Quarter pounders in NZ are the same. McDonald's is 100% beef the patty is just minced meat squished into pattys. They maintain a consistent fat/lean ratio, and texture. But it's 100% grass fed beef
But the best burgers are from a good burger truck which does the same thing with fresh beef and better salad/sauce/bread
As an aussie that visited large chunk if US a few years ago. From the cheapest local diner or fast food joint to the expensive restaurant – almost all tasted like crap. You need to eat so much to get any taste out of it

McD's makes me vomit here in the USA. IN 2023, I tried a BBQ burger in Innsbruck, Austria and a Big Mac in Germany and I was fine.
