Koloman, a French-Viennese restaurant in NYC, made the New York Times Top 100 list—but does it really live up to the hype? With a menu featuring beautifully crafted dishes (some on the pricier side), I had high expectations. While the food was undeniably delicious, I’m not sure it fully deserves its high ranking. In this review, I break down what’s worth ordering, what missed the mark, and whether Koloman is a must-visit for your next night out in NYC.

Well, well, a place I’ve been, though it was a while ago, and I sat at the bar a few times on the way home from work. I love gougeres, and theirs are good, however, the cheese-horseradish flavor combo isn’t for me. Not a restaurant I would seek out, but very nice.
I was interested in that bread, but no longer when the horseradish cream is mentioned.
Not German?
❤❤❤❤
I am SHOCKED that would be 37th.
WOW. Spaetzle is such a pain in the ahh to make. It's like if gnocchi had a redheaded stepchild.
I love schnitzel!
Through this series I've realized we're basically the same person 😅 Vienna – Brooklyn girls unite!
I looked at their menu and they have so many non alcoholic drink options. Always a plus for me.
Everything you got I would have too
Just the sound of your voice makes me happy! You enjoy your food so.much!
Hi, from 🇦🇹
$50 for bread….nope
Thank you for going for me.
Hate to say it but the $15 bread is so worth it
Horseradish Creme can be bought for €2-3 in Germany (look if you can get “Meerrettiche miree” shipped to you – certified gas)
Vienna hands down best city in the west
Koloman is phenomenal. The chef Markus glocker had a restaurant by the name of batard that was great as well. This restaurant is more authentically his and I think the results are stunning. Their pastry/dessert program is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE though. Next time you go you should save a lot of space to try a couple more desserts.
try the Cafe Sarbasky at the Neue Galerie! They have a ton of viennese food and one of my professors said it was the best restaurant at a museum he's ever been to lol
You should try Pakistani food, it’s life changing❤
48$ for a schnitzel plus Kartoffelsalat???? 😮😅
You're so close to finishing the list. I can't wait for your list ❤ even if it's just the top 20 or 30 (because honestly 100 is a lot)
