After closing the 13-year long chapter at his previous concept db Bistro & Oyster Bar, Chef Daniel Boulud has just opened a new one by the name of @maisonbouludsg, a soulful reinterpretation of French classics.
The design of the space is done by @joycewangstudio, inspired by the glamorous French Riviera. We can’t help but be in awe at how beautiful the restaurant looks, it’s intimate yet at the same time inviting. 😌
What we love about the food is how comforting and welcoming the dishes are. French cuisine tend to be known for their heavy flavours and traditional cooking styles, which can be intimidating to most of us. However, the food we had were nothing like that. The desserts are a must-have over here, especially their freshly-baked Madeleines, which are an absolute winner for us. 👏
