  1. paris is the nyc of france it's overwhelmingly shadows the rest of country bc of the popular sites, and attracts so many tourists while being full with cigarettes and homeless people very overrated compared to the other cities of france

  2. México is similar. If you go to tourist zones they get super annoyed with your accent or lack of Spanish finesse, and will generally either eyeroll or find someone who speaks English to help you. Anywhere outside of a tourist zone they’re incredibly friendly and encouraging. I moved to Mexico six years ago with only high school Spanish and now I speak fluently just from making friends and socializing in small towns 🙂

  3. Paris is not france ! My mum is french from the alps and literally any city in france besides Paris will treat you nice and speak French to you if you try

  4. They're always so nice, but then in Paris, they'll insult you if you speak french and pretend they dont understand your English 😂

  5. This is such an American thing to do: Loooook at me! Loook at meeee! I speak another language besides English! Look at meeeeee!

Tu est une putain d'attention, comme les américains!

  6. With all these videos from the internet I have learned that Paris is not the best place to visit in France. This is probably true with most big cities around the world.

  7. Hahahahaha couldn't agree more.. as someone who lived in Paris for 2.5 years. I was like, wait – that didn't happen to me…

  8. The overwhelming impression I get from pretty much everyone is that Paris is some sort of hell dimension full of angsty demons which should be avoided at all costs

  9. I cannot get rid of my Spanish accent when speaking French.
I get 2 types of French: The one that thinks my French is disgusting and I’m an idiot that could not make it and the other one who thinks I’m the cutest: “please continue talking because it feels like summertime”

  10. I’m scared because i’m going to paris in a few weeks and i barely know any french 🫣 i’m learning online so i can say basic stuff but… yeahh

  11. Et à Paris, même si tu es français ils peuvent commencer à parler en anglais et te demander de parler en Français comme “tout le monde”.

  12. I'm french and in France parisians have the reputation of being arrogant assholes who are always grumpy and never have time for anything. But when you see what city is really paris you begin to understand them (I hate paris)

  13. Totally accurate. I’ve spent time in Dordogne, Bordeaux and the Loire… people are sooooo much nicer outside of Paris and actually engage you as a human being who’s clearly not from there. Love France!

  14. Thankyou so much for making it clear that you cannont judge France or the French by Paris !!! Paris is so différent to the rest of the country

  15. Paris the the New York of France, so they're probably known to be more rude compared to the small towns…like in America

  16. I think I an NOT even going to give the parisians a choice to speak English with me. It’s either French or Russian, bitches, your choice 😂

  17. I think the bonjour Madame goes a long way, and visitors often dont appreciate how important it is in France to treat everyone (people in shops etc) as equals. Maybe its a thing from their revolution.

  18. Funnily enough I got this in Paris on multiple occasions, about half. If you find the right people and places you’ll be very pleasantly surprised.

  19. you should make a vid about buying bread in paris and how the baker literally hits you with the bread and makes fun of you.
plus, you make a terrific blond
