Hi Everyone!
How’s it going out there? This week has been freeeezing in Western New York but I guess nothing’s new for these parts lol.
In this soap, I used activated charcoal and French green clay to color my batter. I added some colloidal oatmeal for extra goodies, as it is meant to be soothing for the skin and great for skin sensitivities. Goat milk was also used. And we ALL know that’s great for the skin! I love the blend of anise and spearmint together. Definitely very refreshing! This soap was meant to be a drop swirl but my batter moved fast so it’s more like a layered swirl. If you do try this design, be sure to let me know how it goes!

17.8 oz Water
8.9 oz Sodium Hydroxide
2.28 oz Spearmint Essential Oil (from Bramble Berry)
0.64 Anise Essential Oil (from Bramble Berry)
3 TBS Goat Milk
2 TBS Activated Charcoal (from Elements Bath and Body)
2 TBS French Green Clay (from Nurture Soap)

* I usually add 1 tsp of salt per pound of oils for better release from mold and to harden the soap – mix it in the water before you add the lye.
