There was a restaurant in Massachusetts called Bickford's and they had the big apple so what they did with their Dutch babies is they would put the apples into the pancake while it cooked so the pancake batter covers the apples and you end up with baked apples in the pancake I've never tried it with them as a topping looks good either way I bet this came out amazing

I've made Dutch babies for years, but never with an apple topping, usually berries. I will try this next apple season.
