Rick Steves’ Europe Travel Guide © 2024 | This one-hour special begins in Reykjavík, with endearing sights and thermal pools, plus a side-trip to the Golden Circle’s gorges, geysers, and waterfalls. Then, after fording rivers in a desolate valley and spotting puffins on volcano-shaped islands, we drive the 800-mile Ring Road — connecting glaciers, fjords, geothermal hotspots, sod-roofed settlements, and majestic Icelandic nature. #ricksteves #ricksteveseurope #iceland

  1. I never did a Rick Steves tour but it was watching your videos on our PBS station that got my daughter interested in travelling to Europe. I became her travel partner on four trips and had never realized how much I would enjoy seeing Europe. The funny thing was my wife did not want her to travel alone and I had no idea how much I would enjoy them but I did like history and scenery. There was also lots of art and many churches so they were more like educational trips. Thanks for showing me this great trip to Iceland.

  2. I started watching your videos way back 2017, when I was a 9th grader. Now, I'm on my last year of college. Your videos keeps me inspired to travel more and enjoy life! Thank you!

  3. 13:35 I always think about that sort of thing when people in the past had to figure out a VERY specific way to prepare food so the food doesn't kill you. Also, Rick's description of the shark flavors makes me not want to try it but it also makes me want to try it even more…

  4. Hi Steve, I’ve been a long-time viewer of your channel, and I absolutely love your content—it’s consistently top-notch and incredibly valuable to me. I wanted to suggest something that could take your videos to the next level. With 4K becoming the new standard—whether it’s TVs, computer monitors, or laptops—I think creating videos in 4K would really enhance the viewing experience for your audience. It would be amazing to see your already fantastic content in even higher quality. Keep up the great work!

  5. It simply blows my mind that steve hasn't done such a video for india yet… must have been some strong reason.. clearly

  6. Oh he's back!!! Nice to see new content from Rick Steves. I lowkey miss the old channel intro theme music.
