  1. English and French (and probably other -automated anyhow – subs) are faulty in the last 10-15 minutes. Nothing but "ah", "hum".

  2. Very nice. Although there's too much work in the subtitle dept. I find, try too hard to adapt to English idioms when they're not in French. Example. It's 4 years that he waited to see the guy with a swollen face. In French it's not 'swollen' but 'aérodynamique' which is not an idiom and is funny, referring to the bandages around the guy's head giving him an 'aerodynamic' aspect. Which is funny. I think the English audience would have found it funny too, whereas 'swollen' isn't.

And then there's the mention of the N word which was done without any malice but had to be translated by 'drudge' for today's restrictions.

    So on so forth.

By the way, good job concerning the screen resolution of the movie. At 2.0 GB it certainly is not low resolution.

If you want to show more French films, try Louis de Funès with "Rabbi Jacob" if available with subtitles. Films with Depardieu and Pierre Richard were also funny. There are a number of good French films. Then there are Québécois movies, from Québec, Canada which are interesting, if available, although generally more modern, eg. 1970s and up. In the 50s (1952) there was the drama "La petite Aurore l'enfant martyre".

  3. Очень нравится фильмы с Фернанделем! Спасибо большое за предоставленную возможность посмотреть 🤗

  4. Bonsoir, avec Fernandel et Françoise Rosay également, auriez vous dans vos archives ‘’ l’auberge rouge ‘’ un film de 1951 ? Ce serait un grand plaisir qui je pense plairait beaucoup 👍🙏🏻🙏🏻 merci d,avance
