One of the most stunning restaurants anywhere in the world. The location feels like you’re in an English fairytale, but the food is truly insane. It’s precise, technically excellent, and of course delicious. L’Enclume is one of the most well deserving 3 Michelin star restaurants I’ve ever been to and the fact that they’ve worked 20 years to get to this point is a testament to their belief in what they’re doing. They helped start the farm to table movement in the UK and from their farm to their casual restaurants to their 3 Michelin star crown jewel, everything is imbued with a sense of place.
Let me know where I should go next ❤️

No, thanks. WAY too "foo-foo" for me.
adding this one to the list!!
I LOVED seeing the farm! Something about seeing how they grow and pick out the ingredients is so lovely
I just found your channel today and I've been binge watching episodes all day,I can't get enough of these elegant and out of this world food and restaurants‼👌🏿your channel gets three Michelin stars!🌟🌟
🌟🌟🌟!
What bugs me about ‘fine dining’ is that they almost frown at people with allergies and strong dislikes. I don’t live too far from L’Enclume and for this reason, I’ll never go. Food elitism isn’t always good. The farm is fabulous but, that’s all.
Your content has come so far, I'm blown away. You've also managed to turn an awful cynic into a full fledged Michelin nerd. I can't wait for more stuff like this. I wish you'd list your top three picks of each meal. 😍
Your so young ..so smart .. very talented. YOur editing is spot on …great cinematography . 5 star content… Cheers…
I've always been more interested in the non alcoholic drinks you sample on you videos. Always interested on the creativity of it
Michael ligier can you go to a halal Michelin restaurant
Went to ION Harbour (Malta) one of the other restaurants of chef Rogan, and it was top too.
Great video , well filmed and edited. Stunning little town and restaurants , they're only an hour from me. I've been going to Lenclume since simon arrived in cartmel.
Just one little error. Cartmel isn't the birthplace of sticky toffee pudding , they just sell it in the shop there.
It was invented by Francis Coulson at The Sharrow bay hotel in Ullswater many years ago.
One thing I've learned about restaurants like this is that they're for poor people. You're sat there for hours bored out of your mind while they bring out their tiny, almost inedible dishes. Meanwhile everyone is pretending it taste good because they spent a lot of their money on when in reality it's disgusting but if you grew up without money to you expensive = good and that's the only reason these places stay in business. Poor people trying to look rich.
♥️
I had my 50th birthday here, enjoying the "chef's table" experience at the Aulis development kitchen. Stunning experience from start to finish. The little details like not being given the menu until the end of the meal, and the parting gift of a shiso plant was just a perfect finishing touch.
Clearly this is not a cheap experience, but if you want the ultimate whole dining experience in the UK, it's worth adding to your bucket list.
This is actually a Michelan star restaurant that looks inviting and not overly pretentious. I love the use of locally grown greens and creative non alcohol drinks. What a beautiful town, it just adds to the ambience.
Do people who live in or near Cartmel eat at L'Enclume?
Who else is here because of the 2010 movie "The Trip"?
Enjoy it while you can. Starmer will be erasing all these local places soon.
have you ever been to a michelin starred restaurant in germany?
Did you produce this whole video yourself? This is incredibly impressive!
You should have listed the prices for each dish you're showing or for the whole course. Would have been interesting to see.
Michael, Just discovered your channel and love it! You're super knowledgeable and a terrific storyteller. Thanks for setting a high bar for what cuisine content creation can be!
Try ION in Valletta Malta 2 Michelin exceptional. My opinion will be or should be 3 Stars 2025.
I would love to travel outside of the US to see one of these amazingly beautiful heaven on earth spots.❤
Wait… Did you go back a second time for the English breakfast… That was some amount of food for 1 sitting 😮😮
Thank you, that was a fabulously well shot video. Appreciation from Bristol U.K.
Hey what camerado you use? Ik it's a weird question but I'm a weird guy.
It is NOT cuisine it is only 1000000% business
Love ur channel ❤❤❤❤
"Hyperlocal" is such a pretentious marketing term. Local is sufficient.
