  1. I always save the turkey carcass from Thanksgiving and make a big pot of turkey stock…I like to make applesauce in my crockpot, using apple pie spice and brown sugar for the seasoning…

  6. Great autumnal comforting dishes that you prepared. And thank you for the architecture you showed us and the history you told us about. For autumn/winter dishes i just chuck some meat in to a slow cooker/crock pot. Add some stock and then vegetables later. Even an idiot like me can manage that😅🙋‍♂️

    My ancestors are from Paris/Normandy, so we make similar dishes, but with a southern twist.

  14. I enjoy your videos very much, thank you. Here in the UK, chicken wings are amazingly cheap, £1.65 will make a meal for two and then I keep the bones for stock. Makes me very pleased with myself when I can stretch food so far!
