Band of Brothers (2001)
As World War II drew to a close, it was also at its most grueling. With the Nazis retreating from Germany, the Allies decided to open a second front in Europe, and Normandy in northern France became the key to the beginning of the new situation. on June 6, 1944, Company E of the 506th Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division was ordered to drop into the heavily-firefighting beaches. a group of young men who were passionate and patriotic, and whose rigorous training had made them the cream of the crop of the U.S. Army. Under the command of Lt. Winster (Damian Lewis), the men overcome various disadvantages and complete the landing with flying colors. After that, the high intensity of the battle began, whether it is the French town of Calantang or the Netherlands Eindhoven, whether it is the Belgian Bastogne or the German town of Hegener, have left the brothers of the E Company’s figure and blood. The Company of Brothers is the anthem and requiem for the ordinary soldie#movie #shorts

What a nice way to say “you suck and no one likes you”
I hate that guy so much
Yes the actor did such a great job with this role. He really does make you despise him.
Side note. The extreme chaos that captain sobel's training regimen possessed was an excellent training environment for the men of Easy to understand the stress of the war they would fight.
So we may despise Captain sobel but hisc training saved many of those men's lives.
Always wondered why Sobel was transferred? I guess because everyone disliked him in easy company
He got F’d and didn’t even get the benefit of a reach around
Although he physically trained Easy Company well, nonetheless the most important aspect of an officer is to have sound tactics, which Sobel had none. When the bullets fly and men are dying thats when he'd folded and either got killed or more men killed. Like Lt. Dyke in the battle of Foy
I hate this character and this actor!
They were on a break
Sobal;s chicken-shit was the same every other company commander was handing out; the point being to find "quiters" before combat. But his critical short coming as a combat leader was that he couldn't read a map, had no idea about basic tactics and refused to ask for help.
What a comedy!!!
These captions suck
This is what happens in the military, police departments when they can’t take away your rank but want to “demote” you for either being an asshole or not enough of an ass kisser.
Should've never had Easy co.
Just think, if he hadn’t been relieved of command of E Company, he would have been killed on D-Day
