  1. Caitlyn! I was just in NOLA for New Years! My TOP beignet recommendation (if you didn’t go already) is Loretta’s at the French Market. Their praline and chocolate stuffed beignets were TO DIE FOR! Enjoy your time there!

  2. I love this, but how the heck do you guys afford it all? You just got back from a $10k trip to Jackson Hole! What’s your budget?

  3. if you’re still there check out bar pomona for brunch on st claude for a cute, super local spot. It’s delicious with the nicest staff.

  4. I wish in a way that this could have been a possibility when I was young, but then again super grateful my worst and dumbest isn't online forever! You two are the cutest and I love your content, thanks so much!

  5. Try Jack Rose in the Ponchatrain Hotel for an interesting dinner and don't forget the chambong. Best beignets are Antoines in Gretna (across the river from NOLA). They're deep fried and you have to have your receipt to pick them up. Apparently people will steal your order, so they're adamant about the receipt. Try Muriels in Jackson Square. Best red fish in town. The mushroom salad was incredible. Spend some time in Jackson Square. It's a better vibe than the French Quarter. Go to one of the local museums as most of them are in someone's house and their memorabilia. The Backstreet Museum that houses the Mardi Gras Indian costumes is amazing. Mahoneys has great po boys.

  6. Im a native from Louisiana. Go to Cajun country- Lafayette specifically and that food is better than anything else in the state!

  7. You're one of the few American food creators I see often that isn't consuming Isr*eli supporter products or company chains and I'm so glad for that. I understand it's the bare minimum to not support g*nocide but so many huge food content creators have been eating at these places and thus inadvertently advertising them.

  8. 70 degrees I'm wearing shorts. Looked cold out based on what everyone was wearing.

  9. try going earliest for beignets
they were huge because the dough was flat
they make dough once a day at about 3am
so the later you go the older the batter is
the difference is night and day

  10. I love your videos. My husband lived in NYC for a while and left right before 9/11. (I’m from South Carolina and we live in Asheville NC now) He always wants to stay in Mid-Town when go, which I don’t mind because during the day it’s bustling and fun,but at night everything closes down…..but I keep telling him the food scene has ventured out of there, I’ve been saving the places you recommend hopefully next time we go I can get him to venture out!

You post the best honest food content and I can tell we really like to eat the same types of food!

  11. Cochon- pronounced ‘CO-SHAWN’. No disrespect, just gotta stand up for my New Orleans people. Gotta incorporate the right inflection when in the bayou🖤🤘🏽
