French Chicken Cutleus & New Orleans Chops | Masala Mornings | Shireen Anwar

Recipe:
FRENCH CHICKEN CUTLETS

Ingredients

Chicken breasts with side bone and flattened 4
Garlic paste 1 tbsp
Green chilies chopperise 4
Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Black pepper 1 tsp
Crushed red pepper ½ tsp
Eggs 2
Fresh cream 3 tbsp
Flour ¾ cup
Bread crumbs 1 cup
Oil for frying

METHOD

Flatten 4 chicken breasts, marinate with all given ingredients for 1 hour, coat the cutlets in dry flour, dip them in egg and cream mixture, finely coat with bread crumbs, heat oil in a deep-frying pan and shallow fry the cutlets on medium heat on both sides till golden brown, serve hot with fries and coleslaw salad.
NEW ORLEANS CHOPS

Ingredients

Mutton chops flattened ½ kg
Chopped onion 1 cup
Vinegar 2 tbsp
Soy sauce 2 tbsp
Chili sauce 2 tbsp
Mustard paste 1 tsp
Black pepper 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Flour 1 tbsp
Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
Honey 1 tbsp
Oil ½ cup
Oyster sauce 2 tbsp
Sautéed vegetables 1 ½ cup
Mashed potatoes 1 cup

METHOD

Heat oil, fry chops on both sides for 10 mins. In a pressure cooker heat some more oil, fry onions till golden, add chops with seasonings and 2 cups water, cook till tender, lastly add honey, grill chops well, serve with mashed potatoes and sauted veggies.
