Makes 16 Madeleines
1/2-1 tsp Lemon Zest
2 Eggs
1/2 cup Sugar (100g)
1/8 tsp Salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp Vanilla extract
3/4 cup Maida (100g)
1/2 cup Butter (100g)
Bake at 200C/390F for 8-9 min

  5. Akka my small suggestion or tip. You can replace some portion of flour with almond flour. It will give nutty texture and soft as well. We always make madeleine in our restaurant

  6. thank you steffi for sharing this recipe. This is one of my favorite in costco but the ingredient list at the back would be half a page with lots of preservatives. but u made it with simple ingredients and process. now we can enjoy with out any preservatives. thank you once again.
