I am lactose intolerant (not by choice).
I recently cruised with Cunard who do their best to alter existing dishes on the menu to accommodate my diet.
However earlier this week I was served this inedible Lemon meringue pie, the consistency of concrete.
I laughed and sent it back but remain slightly surprised they put the dessert together without realising how awful it was.
Unfortunately this shows they don’t try the “special diet” dishes themselves before making available to their guests.
Definitely not a luxury dining experience.
