Enjoyed the vlog as usual, entertaining and informative. Just one false note for me, Jerry Man Cam and Jill Girl Cam, poor captioning, man and woman, or girl and boy, made my old feminist hackles rise. Leave it at Jerry Cam and Jill cam, much better. No biggy, just a suggestion for the future.

On Beyond we did the Rooftop Garden Grill for dinner, we all loved it. Many people recommend Eden, and say it is the best restaurant at sea.
We love celebrity food! Our favorite specialty restaurant is Roof Top Garden Grill. We usually get it when it’s on sale or Black Friday deal.
Love the back and forth between buffett lunch and the make-up tutorial, LOL.
Funny you said everyone has phones. I’m 76 and do not have phone ,neither does my husband. So maybe some people like us. My uncle cruised till he was 102 last year and also never had phone. He always cruised holland American.. enjoy vlogs just found your channel and nice to watch Canadians.
No dress codes for breakfast and lunch.
I loved Celebrity and thought it would be my go to cruise line. No. Too many cut-backs, extra fees and the feeling that if you are a non-suite cruiser you are second class. Princess and HAL are now my favorites. Celebrity is not worth the roughly 30% premium for a similar experience.

You asked what we like to eat when cruising so here goes – For Breakfast, we both like eggs benedict, For Lunch the Pizza and French Fries, hamburgers- on the pool deck, For Dinner we both like Seafood and steaks, escargot, french onion soup and creme brulee is probably our fave dessert. BTW – You little butterfly was pretty. <3
We have cruised celebrity many times previously and no complaints. In January 2025 cruised the Apex, beautiful ship. We had inside cabin and missed breakfast in main dining room…overslept. Oceanview cafe was not overly busy at that time and had great conversation with new friends. Our go to spot was Eden until 3/4 thru cruise when everyone else found out about it. Then switched to craft social which was great for cocktails and selection of bourbons. Dining room food was great although sometimes too salty. Tables were so close together which was fine on most nights we have good conversations with neighbours but one night had very obnoxious drunk women that were very loud and rude to us. We should have asked to move but sat it out. 🤷♀️. Watched football college final on gigantic screen..so great

Something I only ever eat when cruising is lobster and escargot.
Are there berries avaiable in the MDR for breakfast?
We like a dining room breakfast. Peter loves corned beef hash which he never gets at home, and I like variety. Lunch is usually sandwiches, salads, burgers, fish and chips. At dinner we enjoy just one app and a main, and often share a dessert but we also like later dining times. We just can’t eat as much now and appreciate fine dining portions.
Love blood sausage!! Try that with the fried bread!!
The buffet on Caribbean princess was super small and Felt very very Crowded Together.

I enjoyed the best BBQ I’ve ever had at the Rooftop Garden Grill, and I live in Texas with amazing BBQ everywhere. ♥️

In answer to your food question, I look forward to escargot, lobster and seafood in general, while the husband goes for the steak. We enjoyed the segment with Jill’s Girl Cam and Jerry’s Man Cam. It was fun. We totally agree that Celebrity’s pricing for drinks, specialty dining, and other extras is much higher than HAL or Princess. But the decor on the newer ships is fabulous! Looking forward to the rest of this series.
We were very impressed with the food choices. We enjoyed reading the menus “over your shoulder” 😄. Thanks to Jill I am now definitely going to try the escargot. I’ve been very hesitant but now I have the courage to. 😊 We also loved the “Jerry’s Man Cam” & Jill’s Girl Cam”. 😁

Thanks for your excellent reviews. We have only cruised on Royal Caribbean ships & found breakfast & Dinner in main dining room excellent. Liked sitting at table with other quests so go food reviews from others. Buffet great on port days. Never eat in buffet at night. Cheers 👍😎🇨🇦
Really loved this review video. Very natural and honest, I’ve subscribed already! We went on our first cruise in January 2024 on the celebrity beyond and we loved it. We’ve booked 2 celebrity cruises this year and we genuinely can’t wait to cruise again!

Confused by your comments on the drink service. In one cut you say how quick it is and then later you say it's slow. Can you clarify?
I have not sailed with Celebrity, but I have heard that they have a lot of up charges. Was there casual food served on the pool deck like burgers and pizza. Thanks for a great review of the foods.
Looks like fun and not too crowded.
You missed the Mast Grill! They had the best veggie burgers I've ever had. Also, Raw on 5 is an upcharge, but the sushi prices are comparable to what you would pay at a land-based restaurant and the sushi was excellent.

1) The MDR is by far about the best it gets on Celebrity. The buffet was so overcrowded at both breakfast and lunch that it was unpleasant to head down to. The Mast Grill was the worst. I went out there on a cold and rainy day when I was the only customer and they would not make me anything fresh so what I got was cold.
2) Dress codes only apply at dinner.
3) Celebrity prices on beverages, laundry, specialty dining and even t-shirts are much higher than Holland America.
4) I am a night owl. Late night, you have poor pizza, overcooked pasta and leftovers.
