THAT'S EASY! 🤜💥🤛
Works on onion rings too!!
Leftover fries are a rarity for me, but I like adding them to my homemade breakfast burritos as my potato component. Yum!
also called sticking it in the air fryer for 5 minutes
Faster better way is just airfryer.
Another option is melt cheese on top and eat it with a fork with a breakfast. I pretend it's breakfast potatoes
This was great advice until I got an air fryer. Still thanks Chef John!
Im eating them cold..
Works better if you chuck them into an oven fryer (this works magic with KFC pieces too)
Air fryers work great too, for bringing fries back to life
I definitely have to try this.
TIL

It's a little upsetting they have enough oil in them to refry in their own juices.
Airfryer 5 mins, magic! 👍
Good to know. Inevitably if I bring takeout home or get delivery the fries have to go in the air fryer. This is way easier.
Or use an air frier for 3 minutes
I've been doing this for years and I can confirm that it works super well. I even do it when I order food to give them a little re-heat just before serving.
Thank you, I needed that pan asmr, that was very nice.
Wow! Cool! 🥰👍
I've been doing it the wrong way all this time. 😔😣🤦♀️
Can we just use an air fryer Chef John?
Air fryer 👌
You can do the same by heating it in the AIR FRAYER
Fun fact, put a little bit of water on them. Sounds counterintuitive, but the water will rehydrate the starches inside the fry. You don't need a lot, maybe just a teaspoon or two.
The water will soak into the fries ASAP and you'll get crispy AND fluffy fries again
Some things taste great cold the next day. Like cold pizza and fries.
You are number one guy, of leftover french fries
This works😂
S-Tier Spatulation.
I put mine in the air fryer for about 1 to 2 minutes tops. I check on them around a minute if u see the sheen of oil around them there done. They will taste exactly like they came out of the fast food place fryer. I do it all the time. It never disappoints.
I prefer to put them on a baking sheet under the broiler
i just put them in the air fryer LOL
I love soggy/ soft fries more than anything. I will literally get McDonald’s fries to leave them in the microwave to get soft, then eat them😻😻 anyone else with me lol
Yeah! Leftover fries like that's a real thing.
Air fryer set it walk away.
Great tip! Thanks John!
I have an addition. If the fries are cold and dry, heat them in a microwave for two minutes with a cup or bowl of boiling water next to them. And then fry in the pan.
