Food&Wine is a very common combination in Mediterranean diet 🙂
Today I want to share with you a recipe from our friends who sailed already halfway around the world with their sailing boat.
Antje and Lars showing us how to cook the Sardinian version of the well known French fish soup Bouillabaisse.
The French fish stew recipe Bouillabaisse is one of many fish stews made in the Mediterranean, each region has a slightly different version.
In Sardinia, fishermen make a stew out of fish, calamari, mussels, crab, or whatever is on hand, along with tomatoes, potatoes, celery, herbs and important… wine, saffron and hot chilly pepper.
The difference from Marseille Bouillabaisse is that in the French type they use orange zest, fennel, thyme, and Pernod or Pastis.
We are sailing on our catamaran Kanoa, a Lagoon 380 around the world. We like to explore new places, we like to cook with people, who share their culture by showing us national recipes and tell a story.
We are cooking with local people. Easy recipes from non-professional chefs. You can feel real life on these recipes for every day.
