First ,the butter did resemble candy! Atlantic City's own saltwater taffy was my thought. Galleries Lafayette was really pretty and I think I visited the Manhattan branch one Christmas time back in the early 90's. Bread was bought twice a day according to my Grandfather and he loved to sit outside and dine over simple but flavorful food. So glad you all enjoyed the vacation and felt secure.❤❤❤❤

I take it you didn't go to Normandy? Tipping in the US is different than in the rest of the world. In the rest of the world the gratuity is included in the cost. If you want good crepes you should go on Holland America. Was Quasimodo at Notre Dame? Used to live in Germany. With all the deaths at this time of year in my family at this time of year don't look forward to it. That's what my late wife used to do. Make a meal of appetizers.
