  1. As an American, trust me when I tell you, don’t eat too much of that delish garbage or you’ll be as sick as we are. Overweight, diabetes, cancer, heart disease, metabolic disease and more. BEWARE ❤

  2. Hey, US here! I do know that sizes change when US plants a restaurant/fast food place in other countries. Flavors too. I also know that Domino's uses local food choices when they are in other countries. It is the same here in the US but not to so great a degree. In different states for example Pizza toppings may be local favorites and sauces too.

  3. As in the name french fries, it was originally 'French fried'. Americans use to like adding a sophisticated sounding name to foods and more. If they use a foreign style of cooking they will use the name of that country as well. For example 'Hamburg-er'. Based on ground meats in Germany it became a name. We have vast amounts of things with German influence based on the large German amounts of immigrants in the US. My own family came to this country at the end of the 1800s. Spicy sausages prevail here, as well as hot pickles and sauerkraut on hot dogs! And so much more. Growing up in the sixties I remember the French always complaining about Americans using the word 'French' on their non-French foods, LoL! Italians also complained that American Pizza was not 'Italian'! (It was called "tomato pie" originally in the US.) The world forgets that immigrants from Europe have been here 100s of years and tried to create foods they knew based on what was available here in America. That is why the food is familiar but still foreign to Europeans. Americans still go wild on food to create new and tasty combinations…. as diverse as it's people.

  4. We only eat fast food about once a month as a treat for the kids- I hope I am teaching them that fast food is occasional, not a lifestyle. If I am in another country, I do not choose fast food I can easily buy stateside- but I did eat McD at Gatwick once before the flight home. Shrinkflation is killing my grocery budget. Most food items are smaller/less at the same cost, or the same size is sold at a higher price. $7 butter…

  5. Some FF places are only found on the west coast, opposite is true for those on the east coast, or in bigger cities.

  6. The French dip sandwich with au jus is the best sandwich on Earth in my opinion. Despite its name it's a 100% American invention. Arby's makes a great one!

  7. I was in Switzerland in 1980 and when McDonalds came to Europe it was met with widespread disgust and protests — and lines out the door, lol.

  8. French people don't get fed is exactly right. When you leave the table you are hungrier than when you walked in the door. When I went to my first and last French restaurant it was an emotion experience just like the man said. Yea, I was totally pissed off. I went to Burger King right afterward. Those French establishments are going to go bankrupt now that they let the Americans in.

  9. The last time I ate at McDonald's was in London in 2001. The food was so much better than in the US I boycotted American fast food😂. The only fast food I eat here now is In n Out. So you guys have it better too

  10. Steak & Shake is a Midwestern chain. They specialize in steakburgers and all-beef hot dogs, made fresh to order like Wendy's. Some of their outlets also offer full-service meals, including breakfast.

  11. I refuse to eat American fast food when I travel to foreign countries. The only time I've ever been in a McD's outside the USA was in Moscow because the guide told us they had free clean restrooms if you ordered anything. I had some fries.

  12. In smaller American cities / towns alot of Fast food restaurants never reopened their dining areas post pandemic and are exclusively drive through and online orders.
This is partially due to lack of staff, but also dining areas were seeing a lack of use even piror to the pandemic.

  13. Our bad food habits are moving to other countries. OH NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  14. The French love American fast food for 2 reasons: 1-they get addicted to salt and sugar and 2-the food is fast. French cuisine is never fast.

  15. Great reaction find here. I found myself saying Really? in a surprised manor many times. I love reactions that are entertaining and informative. Well done sir.

  16. The American fast food restaurants in the UK and Europe use healthier ingredients than they do in America. That makes them more palatable than food chains in the US.
