Try really crispy streaky non smoked bacon in a buttered Easter hot cross bun..no sauces.

This is like the slightly weird cousin of yorkshire's christmas cake with cheese – personally, i think id prefer to stick to my cake because its a little dryer , and you dont melt the cheese

I haven’t eaten Christmas pudding for years, and I’m not particularly inclined to. However, I am a fan of food pairings that are completely bonkers.
Well fruit cake gets served with a chunk of Wensleydale in Yorkshire so why not? The bacon a tad too much though.
It seems like a snack either a :pregnant woman, pothead or drunk person would come up with off top of head and it becomes a hit
