Green bean casserole for Christmas and Thanksgiving feast. It’s an easy and yummy recipe.
Ingredients:
Fresh French Beans – chopped 1 & 3/4 cup
Mushrooms – chopped 1/4 cup
Cream of Mushroom Soup – 1 can or 14 ounce
Fried Onions – 3/4 cup
Cheddar Cheese grated – 1 cup
Crushed Pepper – 1/2 tsp
Olive Oil
Salt to taste
Directions:
1. Clean and cut the mushrooms and French beans
2. Heat a pan, add little bit olive oil and add beans and mushroom to it. Sauté for 5 mins. Cover the pan and cook for 5 mins. Then add salt and pepper. Cover again and cook for 2 mins. If you think beans is cooked well switch off the or you think you need cook more do it. (If you use canned beans, skip this part because canned beans are usually salted and cooked so you can add all these things and put in an oven friendly bowl and ready to bake). Then transfer to an oven friendly bowl.
3. Meanwhile, you can preheat the oven to 350F (bake)
4. Add the cream of mushroom soup to the mixture of the beans and the mushrooms. Mix it well and bake for 10 mins.
5. After that, take it out from the oven and place into a casserole and add the 1cup cheddar cheese 3/4 cup fried onions. Bake again for 10-15 mins, don’t burn fried onion.
