Where do I even start? Oh, Lyon, you have my heart and stomach as well. We started with a brunch in Meert, a cafe from 1849. We watched the Men’s Football game between France and Egypt and the Women’s Football game between USA and Germany. We had a great lunch at Cafe Comptoir Abel, where Anthony Bourdain went and oh my goodness, the steak tartare was soo good. We went to the Lugdunum for our last day and we really loved how they managed to preserve the art and history. Coincidentally, winkwink, our hotel was just a stone throw away from Les Halles Paul Bocuse (another culinary icon), where we were able to get the freshest and best take on French cuisine. Of course, Lyon is the Gastronomical Capital of France for nothing.
