  1. Wynn doesn’t often do pop up dining experiences, and I was super curious to check this one out – despite it being impossible to get into. There were some initial reviews that made me nervous, but they were mostly people complaining that staff are wearing denim and that this steakhouse was either too country or not country enough. I went for @lipsmackingfoodie (the person, not the tour) for a holiday dinner and our group genuinely liked it. I was excited to see things I’d never seen on a menu before (Brisket lasagna – great, refried Lima Beans – I’m undecided) and some cool throw backs to growing up in the south like Buttermilk Pie and a “Texas Twinkie” (a giant roasted chile pepper stuffed with brisket and cheese, wrapped in bacon and grilled). Several members of the management team came from Delilah , Lakeside and other great Wynn venues – meaning the standards you’d expect from Wynn are all there. This was scheduled to end at the end of the year but has been extended likely until very early summer. I have yet to watch Yellowstone, but one of the co-creators Taylor Sheridan, has taken a hands on approach to this restaurant making sure every detail is authentic in flavors and style. It’s meant to be a different experience from anything else on property, in terms of vibe and cuisine, and I feel like they do a good job making that happen. You can find this pop up in the Tableau space, in the Wynn Tower Suites lobby for a limited time.

  2. When did French Onion soup become a Texan ranch classic? It’s from 19th century France. Looks delish tho.

  3. Sheridan tryna get back on his investment since the the 6666 show didn’t get picked up

  4. This actually makes me upset… 🤫 fried Lima beans is my family’s secret 🤐 and didn’t want it to get out… very happy this resterant is only a short term pop-up that most won’t get into

  5. YELLOWSTONE, That’s my dad’s favorite and he really wanted to find any Yellowstone Restaurants until now
