🎄Tiramisu of the Bells🔔
(Singalong Karaoke Version)

It wouldn’t be Christmas without the Most Wonderful Holiday Dessert of the Year

Recipe:

▢ 1½ c Milk (360g)
▢ 2 Packs Hot Cocoa Mix (80g)
▢ ¾ cup Grand Mariner (120g divided)

▢ 16 ounces Mascarpone (452g)
▢ 6 Egg Yolks
▢ ⅔ c Sugar (140g)

▢ 2 c Heavy Cream (480ml)
▢ 2 tsp Vanilla Extract

▢ About 40 Ladyfingers

▢ ⅓ c Cocoa Powder (33g)
▢ 3 Candy canes (Powdered)

-Make the Hot Cocoa according to the packet instructions, and pour in ¼ cup of Grand Marnier. Let cool.

-Rest a metal bowl on top of a pot of boiling water. (Make sure the water does not reach the bottom of the bowl). Over the heat, continuously whisk together sugar and eggs until the sugar is fully dissolved. Combine with the rest of the grand marnier to make a “zabaglione”

-Mix the Zabaglione with the marscarpone and whipped cream (either pre bought, or homemade with cream and vanilla…I prefer homemade because you can skip the sugar. The dish is already sweet enough with cocoa and zabaglione)

-Fold together until fully smooth, then layer the tiramisu with ladyfingers QUICKLY dipped into the hot cocoa, cream, more dipped ladyfingers and then a dusting of cocoa powder.

-Let it rest overnight so the cocoa powder has a chance to hydrate fully.

-Before serving, blend or crush a few candy canes into powder and use as a final little garnish.
