wonderful delicate meal – you deserve such after all the work – Merry advent ❤🙏👍
Great video! Love learning about the food culture in different countries.
That was a fun food tour. Thanks for taking us along. Curious why the last pizza was gross? Ummmm did you forget the Christmas Carol? 😊
I agree the purple (beet?) chips were strange. but why was the pizza yucky? Everything else looked yummy!
Vegetable crisps very tasty
Thank you for today’s video ❤❤
This was great. We are coming to France next March. Great tips.
With the set menus in France, do they offer vegetarian options?
Another wonderful video- thank you 😊
One of my favorite vacation memories was driving around Oahu and stopping at small roadside restaurants or food trucks. We would order one meal, share it, and drive on to the next. We made our way around the island, in no hurry, enjoying the food, desserts, and scenery.
I'm all about the European desserts yum 😋
German food looks best to me. Love watching you eat together and tell us about the food. You both look cold in the chateau.
Thanks for sharing all the beautiful foods from the different countries!
Joyeux Noel!
I go to Aldi in the US, but I assure you the prices are not that low!!
It’s not that there’s no tax, it’s that it’s included in the price. Also, I know you take your students to big cities – the prices you were showing are significantly more in cities like Paris. I was in France and Germany (Switzerland, but that’s next level price wise) in the last month and it would be a challenge to eat for under 25 euros in those places, even if you stay clear of even simple restaurants. If your students want to use their own funds to augment the budget you give them, are they allowed to do that?
Great video with really good advice on the different customs of the regions you have visited. I am at an age where I can only travel in my arm chair. Thank you for taking me along. Deborah. North Carolina 😊😊❤❤
Blessings these advent season. 😊
My brother has moved to Italy to live from Australia and when asked why he says its because the wine is cheaper than water. I always thought it was a bit of a joke and never asked why but now I get it, so thanks for the explanation about paying for water. In australia you don't pay tax or pay for water unless you want sparkling water, water is always on the table in large bottles.
Thank You!
Great Vlog!! Thank you for sharing all the info.
I thought it was hilarious with Leslie trying to be practical about the size of the steak and Rob saying no no that’s fine! 😂😂😂
I was just explaining Aldi last month to the girls here.
Thanks for this. Hopefully planning a trip to Paris next year. ❤️🌹
Rob it is euros not dollars.
All I could think of when I saw the size of that steak is Fred Flinstones car tipping over when he got his order 😂 I hope that didn’t tip your van! 🤭
Interesting hearing about the different meal options. My biggest concern about visiting EU is that I don’t drink wine nor coffee and I eat very low carb, so no pasta, potatoes, desserts or pastries. I have heard the bread in EU is much healthier than in the US. I mostly eat lots of meat and eggs.
Thank you for the video and the commentary it was very informative.
The prices for food are astounding compared to what we are paying in the States! Wow.
No pop I would rather eat food than coke
Give me veggies
I just went to Aldi today in NC. I like because they don’t have all the additives that the other stores have and it’s less expensive.❤
Yummy video! Thanks for sharing❤
So fun🎄 enjoyed from Texas 🎄❤️🍽
Their food and restaurant meals are way cheaper and better quality than we get here in Canada. As a foodie, I enjoy seeing what you get to eat in the restaurants. Glad you shared with us.
Question – At the boulangerie, you showed a picture of the "Formule" under patisserie they display "(Max 2,60). What does the (Max 2,60) mean? I think is maximum 2, but not sure what does the 60 means? Thanks!
Cokes are over a dollar in the states 😮chips start at 2$.
I love Aldi's even though we don't have those quick options, they are definitely the cheapest in the US and best quality. I stock up on my fruit and veggies each month. Thanks for showing this video.
Due to health issues I eat plant based and I’m wondering if the French restaurants offer a plant based formula meal option?
i wish I had so much time to watch the all the vlogs from the channel, for learning, or at least the Xmas ones. Curious. Who waters the plants while you are gone?
Leave the men to take care of the steak! haha – incredible looking steak and can imagine how it must of tasted – YUM!
