We have a dishwasher, however I grew up washing dishes by hand and find the task enjoyable and oddly meditative. I wash my dishes by hand as I go. It is probably wasting water compared to a dishwasher but given the choice again, I would not install a dishwasher again and instead utilize the space for more storage. You have a gorgeous kitchen!

How exciting to live in a piece of history like that! I love your kitchen, all the antique treasures are gorgeous! That huge table is a gem, such a warm and cosy vibe, telling of family gatherings across the ages. Our own table is only Ikea, but its massive wood, it seats up to 12 people, we've had it since we got married, it bears the marks of family life – and I love it, that's what a table has to be like. 😀
