Strasbourg’s #Christmas market is one of the most emblematic every year. All it takes is a pretzel and a glass of mulled wine for the Christmas spirit to take hold of an entire city.

Christmas on every street corner, from decorated Christmas trees to illuminated facades. For a month, #Strasbourg puts a little magic in the eyes of young and old alike.

Millions of tourists stroll through this XXL Christmas market every year. Among the chalets scattered all over the city center, at the foot of the cathedral, #Dominique Schuster, 69, is a regular visitor. She’s one of the last to sell her own creations. Behind each object, she likes to tell a story.

150 years ago, the market was already attracting curious onlookers. Back then, the main items sold were confectionery and toys. Today, you’ll find a little bit of everything, and above all, something to warm you up.

The festivities will last until the end of December.
