Unexpectedly earthy, this is a famous grape that most of us know, but not from here. Still, this is the origin-place for this grapes.

So what wine is it? It’s a single-varietal Malbec from Cahors, France.

  1. I did not know about Malbec originating from Cahors! Definitely will be buying a bottle. By the way, I hope there are no nationalistic Belgians watching this video, as they may get upset over the claim that french fries are from France 😆

  2. Easy one today! I have had your wine many, many times! It's not only good, it's reasonably priced!

  3. With the floral aspects and deep ruby color, it had to be Malbec. However, it did sound rather non-Argentine. Cahors is a fascinating appellation, not so widely known. That means lower prices for us wine geeks.😂

  4. Maybe belgians wouldn´t agree that much about the origin of those potates…:-) Anyway, great content, as usual! Thanks for that!

  5. You upset so many Belgians. They claim the fries as theirs. They substituted small fish with potatoes. They are also served with Mayo as they do in France.
