This CREME BRULEE FRENCH TOAST is a decadent breakfast masterpiece!

✨Recipe:
unsliced brioche loaf
4 eggs
¼ cup milk
ground cinnamon
½ cup milk
½ cup heavy cream
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp sugar

Directions:
1. Slice your brioche bread into thick slices, roughly 1 inch.
2. Separate 1 egg yolk and set aside. With the rest of the eggs (and leftover egg white), combine in a small dish with ¼ cup milk, cinnamon, and a splash of vanilla extract.
3. Dip your bread in the egg wash, letting it soak for 10 seconds on each side.
4. In a pan on medium heat, melt a pad of butter and fry until bread is nicely toasted.
5. In a medium saucepan on medium heat, combine milk, heavy cream, cornstarch, and sugar. Whisk together until thick like a pudding.
6. Pour creme brulee mixture over the French toast, then generously sprinkle sugar over top.
7. Using a creme brulee torch, melt and caramelize the sugar until brown, letting it cool to form a crust.
8. Serve immediately and enjoy!! 😊

  1. Ok, so my favorite french toast recepi is to use the liquide for the crème brulée to soak in the bread (stale bread overnight is the best) then with what's left of the liquid to do a creme brulee, cook the French toast and tadah!
    Try it and thank me later

  2. Make a slurry. In a small bowl mix cold water and corn starch. Don’t ever just throw cornstarch into your custard or sauce or whatever you’re trying to thicken. It won’t incorporate well, and it can over thicken and be weird and gelatinous instead of smooth and creamy. The slurry is the best way. Also, it has to be cold water. Warm water won’t work. 😉

  3. Real creme brulee is just egg yolks and sugar in equal parts, cream and vanilla. The starch subtracts from both the flavor and texture

  4. General powder tip, if you make a slurry with a little liquid first it’ll mix in the big wet easier.

  5. Here’s an easy recipe for penne pasta with just Walmart ingredients

    1: pour the penne pasta in the boiling water (ofc add salt to the water)

    2:get one can of campbells tomato SAUCE not CREAM

    3: add some whipping cream then drain out the water add the sauce and voila
