What we need
French press, Gooseneck kettle (optional or standard kettle can be used),
Scaler (optional or tablespoon can be used) Grinder(optional or ask your barista
to grind for french press), Coffee mug

1st Choose your roast
Light, medium (best produce a rich flavor without bitterness.)

2nd Scale coffee
12 oz – 24 g’s of coffee (table spoon 8g.) Scaler (optional),

3nd Coffee grind size (Use manual or electric grinder)
a coarse or medium-coarse grind.
Coarse ground coffee has a consistency similar to sea salt
By the way, from the moment that you grind the coffee beans,
the flavorful oils in the coffee beans begin to oxidize.

4th Warm French press carafe

5th Boil your water
340 ml water with temp 195 to 200 – 90 to 93

6th Add Coffee
Empty the warming water from the carafe, and add your measured coffee grounds.

7th Pour water
Place your freshly ground coffee into the French Press.

8th Pour 120 ml water
Slowly pour about 120 ml of hot water (just off the boil) in a spiral motion,
starting from the center and moving outward. Gently stir for 10 seconds to ensure
even saturation of all the grounds.

9th Pour the remaining water

220 ml of water, again using a steady spiral motion. This method ensures the water spreads evenly
and wets all the coffee grounds, unlocking the full flavor potential of your brew. ☕

10th Brew
Place the lid (with the plunger pulled up) on the French Press Coffee
Maker to help keep in the heat. let it sit for the coffee can brew for 4 min

11th Push
Slowly push the plunger down. Don’t rush through this step.
A slow, firm pressure is what you are looking for.

Enjoy
Pour your coffee immediately from the French Press into your favorite
coffee mug.

Congrats! You just brewed some delicious coffee with CoffeeSniffer.
