We had heard that Lyon was the food capital of France. This was a huge statement so we had to go and see what all the fuss was about. We spent two days in Lyon exploring the beautiful pastel buildings that line the Rhone River and eating some of the most incredible meals we have ever tasted.

All the food looks delicious!
Stunning
I stoped watching almost half way through. Maybe you did something better after that, but you had me the wrong way after going to a Breizh chain. Of all the places in Lyon? Posers and fakes that you are – eff off
Correctiion : the restaurant "Daniel et Denise" do not have a michelin star (usualy for more fancy restaurant ), the distinction they have is a Bib gourmand which is one grade for the best price-quality ratio.
Honestly : yes.
Lyon the food capital ? Perhaps for french cuisine. But even for french cuisine I'm note sure about that. The french city where you can eat french specialities from all over France is Paris. And in Paris you can eat good food from all over the world much more than in Lyon. But in Lyon, they have very good specialities and the cuisine from this region is very good. But if you want to eat french cuisine from the south west, you have to go to the south west of France or… to Paris
Be careful with the cheese in France; they have Brucellosis. What you find in markets are not regulated. Looks nice, but quite detrimental.
Take a trip to Toulouse, the city is beautiful and the food is good.
Well, capital of food is Dijon obviously 😉
