Journey to the Château, Ep. 256 – In this Wednesday episode, Patrick and Stuart advance their work to finish the north wall paneling in the chateau dining room just in time for hosting the Chateau Owner’s Weekend. Patrick also finishes the fabric for the bed crown and they install it in the chambre de Bruno for one of their guests. They also work on other preparations for the big event weekend.

  1. Stunning dinning room, the cat was very funny in the video. Love the bed crown another great video guys.

  2. Hi sweeties. Your vision is coming alive in the dinningroom. The blue white is such an improvement. And all the blue coloured porcelain pieces look great against the light blue. Love the bedcrown combined with the pink curtains.
Figaro is living a good life at Colombe.
Hugs and kisses also for the furries and Figaro.
    😘🥰🐕🐈

  3. The dining room is so lovely! I do wonder if "Marie" will be getting an upgrade of pedestal in the future? She's crying out for some height and, possibly, more ornamentation for her grand self.

  4. To be honest, until you pointed out the difference in the squares I hadn’t even noticed it.
I love that you had a manager in the room to make sure the bedroom was done correctly. I wish I had that Managment. ❤️
You have done such a beautiful job in the dining room. Everyone will love it. And let’s not forget the supervisors in the dining room ❤️

  5. I really do adore you both! The perfect couple in sync with one another to get things done, with perfection in design and quality of work. It all looks curated with great intent, to be welcoming and a showcase home. Side note: I love Marie Antoinette and have a couple of images of her hung in my 'women only' spa bathroom. I think her image is suited for a dining room, because when someone asks, "Who's one person from history would you invite to dinner? I would pick her. 😁

  6. Such an unusual way to display vases, the blue and white are so soothing, it looks just grand . Love to Figaro❤

  7. The dining room is beautiful. I love the color and decorations. I wouldn’t worry about the different size above the doors.

  8. Hi Patrick and Stuart. Fabulous episode! The bedroom looks beautiful and cozy. Patrick you are such a good seamstress. It’s amazing how he bedroom came alive with the curtain! Loved watching Figaro help supervise😂. Curious little bugger🥰. Dining room is Devine and Stuart your paneling looks perfect. I haven’t been well but getting better and watching everything I missed and I’ve missed you both. 😘😘😘

  9. That bed crown is so unique and I think it looks excellent with the bed in that room. I’m sure Terry and Ashe will be very comfortable.

  10. The dining room is beautiful and the bedroom and the bed crown is also. Figaro is so cute running around and is such a cute snuggle. Hugs ❤❤❤

  11. Beautiful dining room! Helpful hint…I have used the green sticky floral gum on the bottom of a vase to keep it more secure on a decorative wall bracket. Doesn't take much and works well. Your vases are so pretty! Love them! You two are very talented.
Hope you have a wonderful Chateau Owners Weekend!😊

  12. You are talented guys. The rooms look absolutely beautiful, I love, love the dining room simply because it’s my favourite colour.

  13. La salle à manger est absolument magnifique. Comme l'on dit chez moi : " chaque place à sa chose et chaque chose à sa place " It's perfect.

  14. Hi Patrick and Stuart, I wasn't sure I'd love the dining room's end results but the truth be told, It's perfect. The "faux" paneling looks like the real thing and is original to the Chateau. The plates and the bracket shelves with vases make a statement in the room by itself. It's beautiful the way it all works and comes together in the end. Mark & Scott

  15. Love love love the dining room, so beautiful, well done with everything, enjoy your exciting weekend.🥰🇬🇧🇪🇸

  16. That bed crown looks beautiful, what a relaxing room! I’m sure they will love it! Oh my the dining room 😍😍😍 look she’s an old dame she’s not meant to be symmetrical, she got character and oodles of charm, that’s what makes her special ❤ love to you both and I hope you are well ❤❤

  17. 🎉 what a finish (well almost anyway) beautiful 🤩
so tickled at portion with Figaro in it. Perhaps you’ve said and i missed it; have you introduced him to the pups yet?

  18. Can’t see any drama and I’m not reading 400 comments! 😆 I love terry and ash’s bed – theyreenglish but their part of the country has been in both Scotland and England throughout history. And flannel bedding is the best. Can’t afford it here in Canada 😢

  19. The work you both have done in there is SUPERB..bravo…the only thing I think you could find something, like a nice huge blue and white vase to go on the pedestal instead of the statue….it would look stunning, even though the room does…watching you continually from Bulgaria x❤
