Bonjour! Come join us in the countryside and share a very french moment : le goûter! In French we say “le goûter, c’est sacré!” meaning afternoon tea is sacred. Around 4pm in France, it is time for a sweet break. Last sunday I put together a special autumn table for our goûter, I wanted to create a whimsical atmosphere for us to gather as a family and have a good time. We enjoyed a delicious Brioche Feuilletée and speculoos bites (recipe below).
SPECULOOS BITES
200gr of speculoos biscuits
200gr of boudoirs (biscuits cuillers)
300gr of mascarpone
4 TBSP of icing sugar
1 espresso coffee
Blend all biscuits together until thin, add the icing sugar, mascarpone and espresso coffee. Mix with your hand and roll into bite size balls. Store in the fridge until ready to serve.

Oh this gives me so much to look forward to when my lil bub is born! I loved this as a child and set up my own tables much to my mothers dismay 😂 I used every side plate and butter knife, jam spoon in the house .. quite the washing up event after 😂😂
