French Onion Soup

5 cups of homemade Beef Stock
1 cup of Brandy
2 Whole Yellow Onions
2 tablespoons of Butter
1.5 cup of Gruyère Cheese
0.5 baguette
2 tablespoons of Olive oil
1 Tablespoon of salt
2 tablespoon of sugar
2 tablespoons of flour
2 bay leaves
1 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
5 cloves of Garlic
2 chopped chives

On high heat, in a pot add your butter, when melted add your garlic. When it’s Golden Brown add your thinly sliced onions. Add 1 tablespoon of sugar, a pinch of salt and Black Pepper. Put on the lid and let it caramelize for 50 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.

After that add Worcestershire sauce, beef stock and Brandy. Finish with bay leaves.

While the soup is cooking on low heat, bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes chopped baguette with olive oil and salt.

Finally pour your soup into a bowl top it with your bread and cheese warm it on the microwave until the cheese melts. Top it with chives.
